The purchase price of $600.00 provides the niche, a burial urn, a name plate, interment costs and perpetual care of the Memorial Garden and the Columbarium. Payment can be made in full or arrangements can be made to make monthly payments. Please contact Patti in the church office to receive information and Application Form (s) to purchase a niche or two.

College Parents and Military Families
Please turn in to the church office the current mailing address (and email address) for your family members as they serve in the military or leave home for college. We want to stay in touch with them and let them know they have a solid home base here in Sapulpa as they pursue their lives.
We also attempt to send a Care Package as a “touch of home” in early December but are unable to do this if we don’t have a current, physical address. You can drop a note in the offering plate, email the information to me at Patti.Coble@tulsacoxmail.com or, if you need to call after hours, leave the information on our answering machine.
Thank you for your help, Patti Coble, Financial Secretary

What Is A Presbyterian
Homecoming Sunday, September 12, will be the first Sunday of a four part series “What Is a Presbyterian.” Each of the four Sundays will include a fellowship supper and a lesson time. The four Sundays are September 12 (at the All Church Picnic), 26, October 10, and 24 (in Centennial Hall.) Come join the fun of being a part of the Family of God found gathered at First Presbyterian Church.
So, what is a Presbyterian? What do Presbyterians believe? Why do Presbyterians believe and act like they do? These are just a few of the questions we will try to address in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.
We will gather from 5:00 to 7:00 pm for supper, singing, and a 20-30 minute lesson. Each evening will have a theme for our meal with the first being a picnic! The Potluck Supper themes are a Picnic on September 12, a Salad Supper on September 26th, a Mexican Supper on October 10 and a Comfort Food Supper on October 24th. Come join us and enjoy a wonderful time of fellowship and growth in our church.

High School Sunday School Class
As of August 16, we have teachers for the start of Fall with the exception of a High School Class Teacher. Hopefully, when you read this, this will be taken care of. But if not, please consider serving our youth as we would hate to have our High School Students not have a class. If you are only able to commit to September, and maybe even October, this would be great! We just want to have someone in place to kick off this class by Homecoming Sunday. Craig Henderson

Homecoming Sunday - September 12
Breakfast
All children, youth and teachers (parents are welcome too) are invited to meet in Centennial Hall at 9:30 am for a light breakfast. After breakfast, around 9:50 am, all classes will go with their teacher to their classrooms for introductions and other opening activities, planned by the teachers.
During the 10:35 am service, we will be recognizing Teachers! Whether you teach Sunday School, Public School, Private School, Home School, College or any other school; we ask that you attend, if you can. This will be a special time when we can recognize you and pray over your upcoming service.
All Church Picnic at the Davis Farm in Pretty Water Lake Area
At 5:00 pm we will be having a cookout at the Davis Farm in the Pretty Water area. A map to the Davis Farm will be available at both the morning services. The church will provide all the meat and buns needed as well as bottled water. If you desire something else to drink, please feel free to bring it.
Here is what you can bring:
If your last name begins with A - N : Please bring either some condiments, chips or salads
If your last name begins with O - Z : Please bring a dessert.
After our time of food and fellowship, Reverend Craig will present the first lesson of a four part series “What Is A Presbyterian”. (Directions are available in this Sunday’s Bulletin, in the main foyer or in the church office)
Note: If weather doesn't permit, we will be having the cookout at the church.
