The First Presbyterian Church lives to do three things:
- to introduce Jesus Christ to those who do not know and love him;
- to deepen the faith and commitment of those who already know him;
- and to demonstrate Christ's way of love in service to the world;
We do all these things in accordance with the doctrine and polity of the Presbyterian Church.
Church Without Walls – Sunday, May 6 On Sunday, May 6, we will not have any of our normal services. We will be a Church Without Walls! & A Sunday of Church Without Walls will be... & Breakfast, at 9 am, in Centennial Hall. & Communion Service, in Centennial Hall. & Dedication of the new Sunday School Wing. Please bring your cross, if you have not been able to do that yet. & Everyone will go out into the community and BE the church God has called us to be! We have service projects for every age and ability level.
Please begin to sign up, for a specific project, on the lists in the back of the sanctuary. Most projects require no special abilities. If there is a specific need, that will be noted on that project sheet. We will have a meal packaging event here that anyone from ages 5 to 95 can help in. It will require about a maximum of 3 hours. You can even sit down and do this project!!! I would love to have EVERYONE involved in a project. Let’s BE the church God has called us to be! Rev. Wally Johnson |
